I have lived in New Malden for over 20 years and this was by far the WORST Korean restaurant I have visited. We came here to celebrate a birthday, and were seated in the back. No ambience, no music, harsh lighting and plain walls. Then the food arrived: we ordered the Bibimbap , Korean fried Rice and Pork Stew. All of them tasted really disgusting - which is harsh I know. The stew was grainy, salty, and had 3 pieces of pork! Appalling. All the meat tasted very off. I couldn’t even have more than a few spoons it was that bad. The Bibimbap had random tasteless vegetables, unseasoned and very slimy almost and unusual for the dish. Watercress? We have korean almost every week and I’ve lived for a few months in Korea so I know what to compare to. I do not recommend. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20

We had a lovely meal at Imone and it's easily one of the best Korean restaurants in the area. The staff were gentle and genuinely kind from the moment we arrived. They took the time to recommend dishes from the menu and even showed us how to eat them properly, which made the whole experience more enjoyable and felt really personal. The food was delicious and authentic. A great restaurant that we'd happily recommend to anyone looking for proper Korean food in New Malden. We'll definitely be back!
