We had a delivery via food hub. I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews but Not sure if it was because we ordered so late but one of the worst Chinese we have had. We had been really looking forward to getting a Chinese all day we spent nearly £60 and seriously regretted it after 2 things went straight in the bin. Lemon chicken just had like a thick lemon curd on top and crispy shredded beef we get most times from a Chinese but this one was so overcooked and dry no veg and fried house special rice was not fried bland just boiled rice with a weird sauce on top - unfortunately a very disappointing meal. Food: 2 Service: 4 Order type: Delivery Price per person: £50–60

Happy Chef is the greatest Chinese Takeaway I have had. I ordered Duck fried rice and was greeted with a combination of succulent tender meats. The customer service is amazing and a really friendly environment. It was made very quickly and I was also given free prawn crackers. This place is the best Chinese Takeaway in Torquay. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £1–10 Recommended dishes: Egg Fried Rice, Smoked Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein
