I recieved a poor standard meal with hard earned money so gave a poor review on here. I was then contacted by the chippy to ask what went wrong. After my explanation i was assured that they took my opinion into account and would strive to make it how it used to be next time. I think this is excellent customer service.. that you dont see very often. As a result i removed my original review because this chippy has always been superb over the years. However.. something went wrong... but they assured me it would be put right. I think that is a really professional approach to the issue.. and i take my hat off to them. Im now looking forward to enjoying my favourite chippy again. Thank you Happy fryer.. it meant a lot to me. and i'll see you soon. BRILLIANT. However.. after i recieved my next sweet and sour king prawn.. it still wasn't the same as it used to be. They assured me that they would send me the next one like it used to be.. so i ordered it... and unfortunatley it was exactly the same. They did not listen obviously.. after ringing me to promise they would.. they even told me they would put a note to do it on my address and simply didnt. As a result i will be be no longer using this chippy.. after 15 years of being a truely loyal customer. Im so disapointed. It used to be the best chippy in liverpool... but something has gone wrong. I work hard for my money... so i will be spending it elsewhere from now on. Simple as that. Im really sorry that our 15 year relationship has ended this way. you promised me you would put it right and simply didn't... so i'm gone. Please dont make this mistake with others.

I have never met such unpleasant staff In my whole life. Was shouted at from the word go. Only ordered fried rice, chips and curry sauce, as they had run out of fish, even though there where 2 in the warmer for the 15 minutes I was in there. The older woman who could hardly speak English was very nasty. After 15 minutes of waiting, I asked how much long it would be, to be told to come back in 15 minutes. I have never have, and will never be, spoken to by someone I am paying for goods.. Shame on you New happy fryer. I ended up walking out telling them they were and absolute joke. I will never ever go back to that chippy again. Please avoid.
