Well what a waste of hard earned money!! Just had a takeaway of bbq ribs, salt n chilli prawns, noodles & prawn toast. Prawn crackers taste of old oil! Noodles tasteless and slimes, bbq ribs were soo tough couldn't Chew them! And the salt n chilli ribs were sooo salty nearly made me gag!!! Don't waste your money folks, AWFULL food!!!!!!

Food poising and awful staff. I ordered from New Happy House on New Years Eve and about 3 hours later experienced the most horrific vomiting which went on for days. On 3/1/26 I went in to request a refund and explained the situation to the young girl at the till, who then brought over a man and I was asked repeatedly how I was unwell, which was completely un dignifying to announce in front of a shop full of people. The man then accused me of lying because I hadn’t turned up sooner. I explained that I had been unwell for days and the man continued to accuse me of lying because I hadn’t rang him, though I personally did not find it appropriate to request the refund via phone. The man said that as a ‘good gesture’ he would give me half a refund, though went to hand me £18 which was £2.70 short of a half refund. I challenged this, and told him the correct amount of a half refund and the man walked off. I was then approached by the young girl who asked if I’d shared the food with anyone, which I had, but I was the only who ate meat dishes, she then went on to say that no one who had purchased food that night had been unwell, which I felt was insinuating that I was lying. The man returned, said I could take or leave £20 and that I was not welcome to return back to their business. I’d honestly recommend any other restaurant in Cardiff than this one. I’ve had many a takeaway from this business, and usually the staff are always polite and cheerful, however on this occasion I was treated with no respect or dignity. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
