If you like Japanese and Vegetarian cuisines, then this restaurant is worth visiting. Hikari is to be recommended for tasty nigiri and nicely cooked unagi don. You will hardly forget delicious tea that you can degust.
The accommodating staff demonstrates a high level of hospitality at this place. Guests mention that the service is good here. When inside, the ambiance is spectacular. Google users awarded this spot 4.5.

The food's great! We loved the shrimp and unagi rice. But the service is super slow. It's hard to remember what we've ordered that hasn't come out yet because we've placed four orders, and the first one is just now showing up. We did the all-you-can-eat (adult €35 and kid €20), where you can order every 15 minutes and have two hours. We were there for two hours. After getting excited for a dinner in authentic Japanese restaurant in Hannover I got unfortunately very disappointed after visiting Hikari. Service is slow, overloaded and "rushed". We've been told that kitchen closes in 21:30 even though we came here at 20:45 (and restaurant works untill 23:00 btw) and we had to convince the waitress to serve us. Delivery time of each dish was slow, we had to ask for chopsticks and napkins and each plate was dirty and greasy. Food is passable, I have ordered ramen with chicken bites (which to my imagination were simply unfrozen and put into stove), which was unremarkable. To add, pictures of the dishes in the menu are misleading to how they look irl. Waitresses barely spoke english or german, did not name our dishes once they delivered them, were under pressure and had to ask each other for help just to understand what we need. Genuine disappointment, cant imagine bringing myself or my friends here again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
