OUTSTANDING ALL ROUND Home in Penarth is one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. We’ve been twice now and will 100% be returning. The 8-course tasting menu is served over around five hours and every course is beautifully presented, thoughtfully put together and full of flavour. The menu flows perfectly from lighter dishes to richer courses and every ingredient feels like it has been chosen for a reason. The additional appetisers before the tasting menu even begins are a fantastic surprise and set the tone for the rest of the evening. We also opted for the cheese board and wine pairings, which complemented the meal perfectly. There was also the option to add black truffle to one of the courses for an extra indulgence. The service is warm, knowledgeable and attentive without ever feeling intrusive, making the whole experience feel relaxed and special. This isn’t somewhere we’d visit every week as the elegance, expertise and exceptional quality come with a price tag to match. Instead, we’ve chosen to indulge here for truly special occasions and it’s been worth every penny each time. A thoroughly deserved Michelin star and an outstanding dining experience.
