If you like getting barred for life for something you haven't even done then this is the place for you arrogant owners who don't listen to a word you have to say. Hopefully it's not too long before it gets shut down. A stain on Leigh's nightlife. Avoid at all costs. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I attended a event here some weeks ago and omg I was disgusting. Had to wipe my feet on the way out I was disgusted . When i first walked in i was hit with the smell of what I can only explain as dog urine and dirty dogs . I was shocked tothe hear someone find dog poo in the lady's toilets . Having walked it to this to set the event up and was told they had already cleaned was a massive shock there were dog cages on the dance floor with dogs locked in there was dogs roaming around and mattresses in sight in the room to . We asked the owner keir to mop the floors ect to be told they had already been done lol. So he did no more then just spot mop the dog piss. And dog furr. We were then greated by a other lady and man who worked there and said they could not beleave the state of the room and would clean again . When we arrived back at the event there had been no more cleaning done and there was broken shot glasses under tables all the sides were sticky the sofa was full of dog hair tfor someone then walk in the toilets and fined a massive dog poo in the cubicle that a other guest stood in . Then to the FOOD WELL WERE DO I START !!!! A BUFFET THAT SHOULD HAVE FEED 75 PEOPLE THAT WAS PROBABLY ONLY EVER GOING TO FEED 30 PEOPLE AND US HAVING TO GO OUT AND GET MORE FOOD .WE ASKED FOR PLAIN FOODS ON THE CHILDRENS TABLE AS there was A LOT OF SEN CHILDREN COMING AND THERE WAS NOT ONE THING ON THAT TABLE FOR A SEN CHILD . They Were ASKED FOR CURRY AND A LOBBY AND ONLY GOT CURRY that was like piss . Staff carrying trays full of glasses through the children as there was no working sink behind the bar to wash them. No personal food hygiene or venue hygiene provided when asked a number of times for . To later find out that some of the food had been made of site .the two staff on the day could not apologise enough and was saying how bad things were . Then after stacie barring the first dj that had booked she then book a other with out any the lady who was hold the event even knowing then trying to charge her £250 and this is after her wanting a other £160 for the extra so this cost over £460 for a buffet that personally i would have not feed my dogs on . After talking to the lady who's event it was i have now found out that as she as refused to pay for the dj she did not book that eir is now threatening and intimidating the lady and being told she will get people at her door and they will take her to court . I was wondering as a publican myself who was hold the licence for hooleys well stacie was away and also what the hygiene rating is for the place as never seen any about . PERSONALLY IF YOU ARE THINKING OF HIREING THIS PLACE FOR ANY EVENTS PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE . Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hooley's is such a nice place to spend a late night. All the staff are nice, the drinks are reasonably priced. There are some really lovely regulars that visit and the atmosphere is really feel-good. Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
