Nowhere to park and then said they’d charge us for not making the booking. Also I imagine staff standing around loudly discussing politics and saying which politicians they think are idiots is not what the owners would like to be entrance to the establishment…. I've been a regular at Hoop at Stock for quite some time now, and let me tell you, it's an absolute culinary delight! In a time when so many restaurants are jumping on the bandwagon of serving fried or microwaved food, Hoop at Stock stands out as a beacon of fresh, properly made dishes that are simply to die for. From the moment I walk in, I'm always greeted by friendly staff who make sure I feel right at home. The menu is packed with mouth-watering options, each prepared with the finest ingredients and cooked to perfection. It's not often you find a place that takes such pride in their food, and it really shows in every bite. Now, let's talk about the Oak Rooms upstairs – an absolute game-changer. The space is beautifully designed and creates a cosy atmosphere that's perfect for a meal with family or friends. What's more, Hoop at Stock goes above and beyond by being both kid-friendly and dog-friendly, so everyone's welcome. But it doesn't stop there – the beer garden is a fantastic spot to enjoy a drink and soak up some sunshine. It's the ideal setting for a relaxed afternoon or evening with friends. As a regular, I can wholeheartedly say that Hoop at Stock ticks all the boxes. It's become my go-to spot for amazing food, great service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favour and pay them a visit – you won't be disappointed! Kid-friendliness: Extremely kid and dog friendly.
