I’ve been coming to Hot Wok Restaurant for over 16 years and it’s still my go-to spot when I’m craving real Hakka food done right. Hands down, the best chili chicken with gravy. When you dine in, the chicken stays perfectly crispy and the chili chicken gravy is incredibly flavourful — the combo together is just unreal. Another must-order is the Chicken 88 triple spicy (dry). Packed with heat, bold flavour, and cooked exactly the way it should be. What really sets this place apart, though, is the owners. They’re super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely care about their customers. They’ll customize the food exactly to your liking, especially the spice level, which makes every visit feel personal. Consistently great food, generous portions, and amazing flavour after all these years. A true Scarborough classic and highly recommended. ️. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20
