A terrible end to an amazing holiday in Canada/Alaska. Room 17 had no hot water on Friday night 4th September. The receptionist who checked us in seemed like we were a distraction dragging her away from playing on her phone. When we reported at 930pm to this person she said she will let the night staff know at 10pm. Spoke to the night manager at 10pm who wasnt aware. He offered a refund straight away with no hesitation like its a regular occurrence. Checked out in the morning after having a cold wash down with face washer before a long flight back to Australia. The girl on check out told us to write a review. Not one apology from 3 different people and a very over priced hotel with the elevator also out of order. This has been the worst hotel experience in any country over all my years of travel and encourage others to think twice before booking a stay here. Oh and I'd remove the free breakfast option as it just make the hotel look even cheaper with it's offerings.

Had a really nice stop at Howe Sound Inn & Brewing while heading through Squamish. The vibe is super relaxed and perfect after a long drive. We ordered the Large Brewpub Nachos loaded, fresh, and enough for two. Paired it with the Howe Sound Lager, which was crisp and refreshing, and a Moscow Mule that had the perfect balance of ginger and lime. Service was friendly and quick, and the overall atmosphere just makes you want to sit back and chill for a bit. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when in the area Service: 5
