Been here twice now, both the food and the staff were lovely. Very authentic Hunan cuisine with a choice of varying spice levels. Would recommend the Hunan bacon and the hot plate tofu and minced pork. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a decent experience at Hunan Restaurant. The food itself tasted quite good and had the bold flavors you’d expect from Hunan cuisine. However, many of the dishes were a bit too oily and noticeably on the salty side, which made the meal feel heavier than it needed to be. Another point to mention is the pricing — it’s definitely on the higher end, and considering the portion sizes and the seasoning, I’m not sure it offers the best value. That said, the overall flavor was enjoyable, and if you like strong, rich dishes, you’ll probably still have a good time here. With a bit less oil and salt, this place could easily be much better.
