I recently visited Ice Rink Fish Bar and spent £16.30 on the following: • Small cod and chips • Large curry sauce • Large dinner meat (on its own) • One battered sausage • One scallop While the total price broadly matches the menu, the portion sizes were very disappointing, especially for items described as large. The “large dinner meat” portion was extremely small and closer to a small serving. The chips were minimal, and the cod pieces were thin and broken rather than a proper fillet. Overall, the amount of food provided did not reflect the price paid. I don’t mind paying fair prices, but I do expect portion sizes to match what is advertised. Unfortunately, this meal did not offer good value for money, and I was left disappointed. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
