Man I used to love this spot despite the outrageous price tag. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years the portions have gotten much smaller and ingredients less fresh. Double whammy. It never felt great spending $30 on a salad with protein but you could once justify it as it was genuinely tasty. Now it’s just straight up robbery with a side of attitude from the staff and an ask for a tip on takeout as the cherry on top. Pass. I'm not one to exaggerate, generally speaking, but upon embarking upon a mission downtown I decided to rest my tired body at this fabulous establishment. Although I'm still slowly making my way through Camus' Myth of Sisyphus and have only thus far reached the part about Don Juan, I have to say that my appetite for Impact Kitchen's food is almost as voracious as his was for the delights of life. Indeed, what is life without some delicious Hot Sauce? Impact literally does the best hot sauce. Caution: do not order this alone. Order a falafel wrap. It is delicious, healthy and packed full of falafels and hummus. The best in town. Just don't forget to ask for hot sauce. PS, their Uber eats offerings are great, too. Really nice smoothies. Cheers!
