Another greedy company (working with just eat) that forces people to pay SERVICE CHARGE on top of delivery and it all goes to the company the driver and restaurant don't see a single penny. WE ARE THE UNITED KINGDOM NOT AMERICA, TIP IS OUR CHOICE TO GIVE AND WE DONT WANT TO GIVE YOU ANY!

Our service charge is the lowest of all the platforms, fixed at 50p of which the restaurant gets 25p. This covers the software use. We are nothing to do with just eat and offer our restaurants and takeaways a fair and easy solution for their app. This is not in any way a gratuity and shouldn’t not be seen that way. if you wish to reward your driver then please do so!

I placed an order based on the advertised delivery time of 40 minutes. After taking my money the delivery time suddenly switched to 1 hr and 10 minutes, with no cancel option provided. I would not have placed the order if they had been honest about times. When you add to this the outrageous delivery charges and often minimum order charges it becomes a rotten "service" indeed. Sort out the delivery times and extortionate charges and they'd probably make more money, as per the laffer curve. As things stand this is one to avoid.

Dave, thank you for your comments. Each takeaway has control over their pricing and delivery times setting this themselves. What takeaway was it and we can ensure to speak with them and see how we can help them improve their delivery service.

Just placed my first order through Inverness Eats with the Hong Kong Kitchen, meals arrived 10 minutes before estimated delivery time and hot, there isn't much choice given my location for food delivery, so I was pleased there was a small choice of restaurants, food was delicious will order again. Update: Contacted Inverness Eats through messenger as they are available until 11pm to deal with any issues or queries, my order didn't arrive, no reply from Inverness eats, and after contacting the restaurant I was informed that they had no driver available, so I requested a refund, 2 and a half hours later I find out my delivery isn't coming and nobody bothered to inform me, poor show by all, so I have dropped a star for poor customer service. Do Better!
