Ordered around £20 of food from Istanbul Chef Northampton via Just Eat, with an advertised delivery time of 1 hour. After waiting well beyond this, I made numerous phone calls to the restaurant and was repeatedly given promises that the food was “on its way”. In reality, the order didn’t arrive until nearly 3 hours later. When it finally turned up, the food was stone cold and clearly inedible. I sent it straight back with the driver. The most disappointing part was the response afterwards. The restaurant showed no interest in resolving the issue, and Just Eat were equally unhelpful, offering a £5 refund on a £20 order for food that never got eaten. This experience was frustrating from start to finish and showed a complete lack of customer care from both the restaurant and the platform. I wouldn’t recommend Istanbul Chef Northampton or ordering through Just Eat based on this experience. Save yourself the hassle and use an alternative. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Ordered from the Takeaway service yesterday, whilst the staff were lovely, the food wasn't great. Ordered a mixed kebab amongst other food, chicken in burgers didn't taste great and some chicken in my kebab wasn't cooked. Unfortunately won't be visiting again.

Order was 40 mins late and when it finally arrived the chicken was raw. I complained about this and then waited another 1hr 30 mins for fresh food to be delivered. I will not be ordering again from them
