I went to Istanbul Restaurant this evening with my partner for dinner, arriving around 7:30–8:00pm. We’ve actually been here before and never had any issues, which makes this experience even more disappointing. While eating, we found a cockroach in our salad. It was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. What made matters worse was that despite this, we were still expected to pay for the meal. Honestly, many people would have taken this much further, but we chose to just pay and leave. This has completely put us off. Cleanliness is the absolute minimum you expect from a restaurant, and this fell far below any acceptable standard. We will not be returning. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner

Nice place to eat in the city centre. Lots of choice. Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere.

Excellent tasting Turkish food in and around Derby. Inexpensive compared to the other Restaurants. We started going there often. Car parking in Intu shopping centre (open till late) Disable parking in front of the Restaurant. Enjoy.
