AVOID dont normally leave reviews but have given takeaway numerous opporrunities only for them to lie and block me. Ordered from here on 1st June one of dishes we ordered can be spicy but usually they alter how its prepared so its not spicy and have done many times beforehand. We forgot to add it to notes on just eat. So we called directly after sent order via app to ask for it it to be non spicy which was agreed to. When food arrived the dish we asked for not to be spicy was spicy and along with other items ordered cold. We called the takeaway straight away to be called a lier and hung up on numerous times. When they did speak guy was in complete denial. Eventually agreeing to full refund and to call next night to speak to owner and he had enough of us so to call just eat. Also tried contacting business same evening via facebook messenger thinking boss might read it only to get no reply then blocked We contacted just eat to raise awareness but was informed nothing would be done. After back and forth withdifferent ai and chat bots via email where they dont really acknowlege anything in your email. We were given some credit not a refund. We posted on a local facebook group to make others aware. The owner which replied behind a nickname defending them and making out we were lying and just looking for a refund. Claiming he wasnt from takeaway he then showed a copy of my just eat receipt only he can have. Showing my personal information. After he was reminded by others this wasnt allowed he deleted most of his comments. But I personally had to contact admin of group to delete comment with my personal details. Last night i called to speak to owner who was very defensive and told few lies to fob me off and take any accountability and passed all responsibility of issuing a refund to just eat who need his authorisation for refunds. And to contact them and tell them he authorised it something anyone can do. So just need to speak to him directly. Just eat make it near impossible for customers to contact direct using chat bots and ai. While restaurants have a direct number to a human. Tried calling tonight only to have my number blocked. Will be taking further and going to police regarding sharing of my personal data on facebook. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Needed some dinner and it was around 9pm at night. Most establishments were either closed or not serving food. We needed food that also had gluten-free options for 2 members of our party. Istanbul Kebab House was open and they had chicken and lamb gluten-free kabab options that come with chippies (fries). My wife and her sister were able to enjoy a very generous portion of those items and they did not get sick. Bear in mind my wife, has celiac's to the point where whiskey, which should be gluten-free through the distillation process, is not an option for her. She did not get sick from this meal and enjoyed it very much. The one of our party had a chicken donner, another had a pizza and i had a calzone with pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers and onions. I tried my wife's meal before i contaminated myself and i also thought it was tasty. My calzone was most excellent and the size of a medium pizza from the United States. The gentleman serving/preparing our food was very kind and considerate. This place is definitely better than 3/5 stars. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. The portions are great. It was safe for my celiac family members and the food was delicious for a good price. Plus no reservations or vague hours for when food is/is not available. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
