Sat out on the patio and had a beer and an appetizer. Food was great. Service was prompt and friendly. Patio was beautiful with a view of the harbour and mountains. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My girlfriend and I went and visited Joss for the first time and it was an amazing time. The staff and the ambience made the experience very pleasant. As for the food, it was really lovely and could tell right away that all the ingredients are the best quality and made with care. We ordered the Joss Burger, Genoa Pizza and the Gambas à la jillo(Tiger Shrimp), and each meal had its own highlight. Shrimp was meaty, The burger was flavourful, especially with the pickles, and the pizza did not disappoint. If you’re ever in the area while looking to sit down and have a good meal with friends or your partner, I definitely recommend:). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $60–70

Now I know what it feels like to be verbally assaulted. We arrived on time for a reservation we’d booked. After waiting at the end of a line for a while I politely checked with the people ahead if they had reservations or if they had checked in. They did not have reservations so I went inside to find out if we needed to check in, etc. With the restaurant apparently full, no sign of the table we’d reserved being available, and a line of people ahead of us I didn’t know what else to do. As I approached the owner to ask if we needed to check in he glared at me and said abruptly “I’m Busy. Go stand out there” and he pointed at the door. I tried to ask him if we needed to check in and he got really angry and aggressive and told me to “Just get out”. I told him to cancel our reservation then did as he asked and I left. I’m a polite 60 year old guy and I’ve encountered a lot of people in my life. This was the most abrupt and angry encounter I’ve ever had. I was actually really shaken up by it but I’m only willing to get so upset over a pizza so I managed to shake it off and we had a nice meal down the road at another place. I’ve never written a bad review of anything and I don’t know what lead to this fellow being so angry but it really was uncalled for.
