Stayed at Ruthin Castle hotel on a spa break and Jaques was recommended by a member of staff. On arrival we were recommended a lovely bottle of wine which we throughly enjoyed with a cheese board. We stayed till the end and our host was wonderful! *Margaritas were tasty Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

booked in for meal Sunday evening, cold draught so asked to be moved, instead they plugged in a heater. waited a while for food. generous portions however could have been hotter. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £20–30

. First time we've eaten here, won't be the last! Went with my friend from Prestatyn to Jacques Wine bar in Upper Clwyd. Lovely friendly staff, the Moules-frites were both spot on, really delicious, but the star of the show was the Salade de magret fumé, can't remember what they called it on the menu. My friend devoured every single bit of it. It was like being in a restaurant in France, in the Dordogne! Right, off to post some reviews on TripAdvisor and Google Maps. P.S. you may need to reserve in the evenings. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20 Kid-friendliness: High chairs
