Just want to share a disappointing experience at Jaffa Restaurant Manchester. On this occasion, we placed an order exceeding £100 at around 8:00 PM on 25th May 2026, with Muhammad taking our order. Unfortunately, midway through placing what was a straightforward order, Muhammad became noticeably rude, repeatedly stating that we were “confusing” him. This was unexpected and uncomfortable, especially given the simplicity of the request. After waiting approximately 45 minutes, I approached a couple of staff members to ask for an estimated time of arrival. I was told they would check and get back to me, but no one followed up. Shortly after, I saw Muhammad upstairs attending to another table, so I asked him directly for an update, particularly as other families who had arrived after us had already been served and had left. His response was that he did not know how long our order would take. This response felt dismissive and awkward, especially in front of my family and children who had already been waiting patiently. When I asked whether he was effectively saying we should leave, he replied, “Yes, fine.” As a result, we ended up paying for the mezze which had no potato and drinks and left after nearly an hour without receiving our main order. The overall experience was disappointing, particularly due to the lack of communication and the manner in which we were treated.
