What a great Sushi class and experience. We were welcomed into Hiroko‘s home and enjoyed a Japanese tea together. We then started the class and learnt so much about making Sushi. Hiroko Is a wonderful teacher and we had the best time. We then got to sit and enjoy everything we had made! I can’t wait to make Sushi again at home.

I bought a Japanese cookery class as a Christmas present for my son and we were not disappointed. We learnt so much from Hiroko, not just about the food and how to prepare and cook it, but also about culture, history and language. The pace was gentle and relaxed and we were amazed how much we achieved, and of course it was all delicious! Hiroko is a delight to spend time with and chat to. We highly recommend what is a whole experience, not just a cookery class, and we will be back. Thankyou Hiroko.

Wow, what a fantastic day I had at Japanese Ideas! The whole process was so smooth and enjoyable. Booking a month or so ahead was a breeze, and the email communication was lightning-fast and super helpful. The menu had so many tempting options, and we were absolutely thrilled with our choices. Sharing the experience with two other lovely pairs made it even more fun – we had such a laugh with them and the utterly charming Hiroko! She's so welcoming and makes you feel right at home. And the food? Simply brilliant! Hiroko's instructions were so easy to follow and her explanations were crystal clear, plus we got to take home printed recipes – a real bonus! Learning about the ingredients and why Hiroko uses specific ones was so insightful. I'm already planning my next visit for the sushi class! This would be perfect for a group of friends, family, or even venturing out on your own to meet some great people. Absolutely 10/10!
