such a disgraceful act by staff. We are regular customers, today went and wanted to purchase 2 student meals. We showed our ID cards on phone to the staff, who started taking order then suddenly became sarcastic and said he needs to see the id on portal. We showed Student Beans and Unidays verified student ID, then he kept saying he wanted to see ID on portal. The staff didn't have any idea that uni students nothing have on public portal due to UK GDPR, but they have uni learning apps. When we asked what he meant by portal, he said he meant uni app. then we showed uni learning app and by that time that was almost 10 mins, still making unusual comments leaving us as a customer harassed. Then he said he can do favour to take order despite proving our identity with valid IDs. We ended up leaving without ordering due to his unprofessional behavior. If you don't offer student meal without physical cards, straightly say Yes/No. what is the point of harassing customer in the sake of checking IDs on all platforms and then keep dragging the unprofessional and unapologetic conversation? totally disappointed. So I’ve ordered and eaten in here and although I truely enjoy their food, I’m having a consistent issue. 1/6 orders of food I get they give me spicy chicken instead of normal. Heck one time I was nearly handed spicy chicken, I’m glad I asked before talking it. Really good chicken but please read the order properly.
