I love this gem of a cafe. Fab owners who love food and community. The sourdough based toasties ate truly delicious and coffee is made to perfection. I come regularly for a calm way to do a little work or reading. Excited for their events series as well - chefs, supper clubs, creative workshops. Definitely one to watch. I have come here before for coffee and pastries which have been nice in the past. I thought I would branch out and order some lunch. It was so overpriced, I spent £40 on 3 sandwiches (one meant to be a child’s) and 2 drinks and babychino. I ordered the croque monsieur which was essentially a ham and cheese toastie (as pictured). You are better off ordering from the kids menu for that - they were essentially the same thing. Also, bear in mind that all the food comes out with chilli flakes on it apart from the kids menu, so my son could only eat his sandwich. The matcha was very bland - stick to coffee if you are going to order. The staff are fine, not particularly friendly but they did correct a mistake on our order right away. Love going to Hello Josephine ! Always a happy smiley greeting, chilled music vibes, warm comfy decor and exceptional food…. Highly recommend any of the sweet treats, all delicious, or the healthy brunches & lunches. All amazing. Dog friendly. Impossible not to leave feeling better about the world.
