Absolutely awful experience. Ordered through just eat, waited over an hour and didn’t even have a driver assigned to the meal which indicates to me they hadn’t even bothered to start preparing it. The time on delivery kept going up and up. I sent my partner to drive to KFC to see what was going on when finally the app updated and we decided to wait for the delivery which then took an extra 25 minutes to come. At this point it had been nearly an hour and 40 minutes since we had ordered this meal. Then we discovered it was wrong. My drink was missing, we got Diet Pepsi and not Pepsi max and two tubs of gravy were missing and replaced with one coleslaw. No dips. Whilst I appreciate everyone has different preferences, personally I don’t even want a KFC without gravy and had I known it would have been delivered without, I would have cancelled the order and got a refund. We appreciated the delivery driver was nothing to do with this so my partner went back out to KFC to ask them to switch our sides for gravy as requested and replace the drink. When he got here, my drink was just sitting on the side. He showed staff the receipt on the bag to which the worker rudely stated that it was written on the receipt that they had run out of gravy, this was barely legible. He stated this to her to which she said “yeah it was a bit of a rubbish pen”. This is still unacceptable, why weren’t we contacted to ask if we would like to accept the switch or did we want to cancel the order? Or, why did the app allow us to order gravy if there was none available in store? He stated this, and she told him they had gravy when we had ordered but customers had come in store that were given gravy after we had ordered. He asked why are customers prioritised that have ordered afterwards and in store to which she said “it’s just one of those things”. I think it is completely unacceptable to not bother preparing an order for almost 2 hours, and because you have prioritised other orders that ordered after, you then don’t even have the items that have been paid for. He asked for sauces that we could actually use to eat our meal to which she said she could only give us 2 (despite having paid for 2 large gravy!) She also took away the coleslaw, which I hope she wasn’t planning on reselling since it had now been given to a customer and in our home! Staff were extremely rude and dismissive to him, it is clear they did not want to deal with their mistakes and were actually trying to get him to leave by telling him they better make it quick as they have to clean soon and that she’s back in at 7am in the morning. That’ll be because at this point it was gone 10pm and over 2 hours since ordering! They also said they had been busy this evening (which we can totally understand) however over 2 hours for one takeaway is unacceptable. Its is also clear walk in customers were being prioritised. They also didn’t seem very busy, given when he arrived two of the 3 members of staff in there were outside smoking! Once we finally got the KFC back home, it was freezing cold, had to be reheated and was then extremely dry, especially without the gravy. Both of us hardly ate any of our meal. Over £50 spent on dinner for an absolutely shocking meal, rude staff and a ruined evening. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1

Last night been here order 2 pc chicken and coleslaw waited 20min only young boy working in front and he’s so slow there might be 20 orders and he working like only couple of orders there and no one come behind the kichen to help him out they just stand there like no one care about customers £7 orders spend and £20 I pay my taxi to drop me home cause he waited outside kfc what a joke ignore this kfc very bad service and there owners just give review answer back we are sorry you get bad experience that’s it what a joke they should trained there staff in busy atmosphere down the road John fish n chips they got long queue there staff my god took 5-7 min all clear this is call customer service you should send your staff to down the road chippy they teach them better I bet on Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
