As representatives of the Z27 team visiting from London, we wanted to experience the service and hospitality at this central Manchester KFC location (near Chinatown). Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing due to the poor attitude of the staff. We interacted with the manager, Lucy, and Ibi. Despite explaining our connection to the brand—as my cousin is a KFC manager—and offering to leave a positive Google review in exchange for a standard hospitable gesture (like an extra portion of fries), we were met with zero smiles, a rude tone, and complete unfriendliness. A famous name like KFC cannot sustain itself on reputation alone; customer service is what truly drives a business. The manager and her team showed a complete lack of warmth and a very stingy attitude. Smiles and hospitality cost nothing, but their complete absence today speaks volumes about the poor management at this branch. Quite a shame.
