This was stupidly good. Like really amazing. We tried the bowls but the sushi also looked really good, the defor was very cute as well. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Comforting, flavourful classics served over the counter for a quick bite. The chicken katsu was perfectly crispy and moist. Deceptively small, even for a large size, the never-ending pile of katsu paired well with the sweet curry sauce. A bed of egg fried rice complemented the meal with umami goodness, although flavour fatigue ultimately defeated me in the end. I visited KOKORO Cardiff during lunchtime and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavourful, and really good value for money. Everything tasted well-prepared and satisfying, and the portion size was generous for a lunch meal. Service was quick and efficient, which is exactly what you want during a busy lunch hour. The staff were friendly and kept things moving smoothly even when it got busy. Overall, a reliable spot for a quick, tasty lunch in Cardiff. I’ll definitely be coming back!
