The best coffee shop in Calgary featuring locally roasted beans and guest roasters. A really unique space, the barista works out of a renovated closet with a really cool lighting fixture (art instillation). The coffee shop is run inside of Community Wise (The old YWCA), a few doors down from the Hop in Brew.

Unassuming Locale Serving Delicious Coffee. Inside the Old Y building on 12 ave SW, just west of The Drum and Monkey is a place you might not think would have wonderful coffee. In fact, as I noted to the owner while drinking an americano, it is a better pulled shot of Rosso coffee than I've had from any of the Rosso cafes. We now have a new addition to the great places serving quality coffee in our uptown area!

There are a few tables beside the "closet" which serves as Kaffeeklatsch's current base (the espresso machine has actually been designed for mobility). It feels like walking into someone's home, in part because it is right next to the kitchen that everyone in this building shares. So it's really a communal space. Go check out some great coffee and say hello to the friendly owner who runs this place.
