A lovely Japanese restaurant near Kentish Town. The food is amazing and affordable! Wagyu is our favourite - it is tender and not greasy and we regretted not to order more! The katsu curry got a decent size of portion which is more than enough for one person. We love every dish we tried here and will definitely come back at some point. Food was excellent and every dish we ordered was delicious. The Wagyu nigiri was definitely the highlight—the beef literally melted in my mouth with a subtle buttery flavour. The salmon salad was fresh and well-balanced, and the tempura was light and crispy instead of greasy. Great value for the quality. Would definitely come back! Kami is a hidden gem in London. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the salmon tartare and eel rice bowl. But the foie gras rice bowl is on another level — I genuinely haven’t found anything comparable anywhere else in London. If you come here, the foie gras rice is an absolute must-order.
