This is without a doubt the BEST Chinese takeaway I have ever been to. We have been coming to Kan’s for two decades - growing up locally, this was my family’s go to takeaway for a Saturday night. I am impressed every single time. The staff are always friendly and attentive, the service is fast and efficient, and the food is authentic, delicious, and of excellent quality. Additionally, the portions are very generous, with each container being full to the top. My personal favourite dishes are the salt and pepper chicken and Singapore vermicelli. I have heard good and bad things about this place so thought I would give it a try. I have now ordered from here 4/5 times and can honestly say all the food tastes the same. It’s really strange how even last night I have ordered satay chicken which tasted exactly the same as chicken with broccoli and chicken with oyster sauce. Special fried rice missing the ‘special’ ingredients and generally the food from here is lacking of any real quality. After moving to here I find this Chinese it is the worse I have had and I don’t say that lightly. Disappointing to say the least and will try and find another elsewhere.
