We visited Karahi Point Stoney Creek last night after my brother’s graduation dinner with family visiting from Montreal, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. Before arriving, we called ahead and were told the food would take about 20 minutes to prepare. However, it took significantly longer than expected. We ordered Combo #3, expecting a good dining experience, but the food and service fell far below expectations. The karahi was extremely salty, to the point that none of us could finish it. Several members of our group felt unwell later that night after the meal. We were especially disappointed because the karahi is one of the restaurant’s signature dishes. The kebabs arrived in poor condition, falling apart and looking nothing like what we expected. When we brought this to the waitress’s attention, she told us there was nothing she could do because the cook had already left. We ended up leaving the kebabs on the table and didn’t even bother taking them home. There were also multiple issues with our order. We specifically requested masala fries but received regular fries instead, and again were told nothing could be done. The biryani included in our combo was completely forgotten and only brought out at the very end when we had already finished eating. Additionally, the combo was supposed to include ras malai, but they did not have enough available and substituted kheer. While we would have been okay with the substitution, it should have been communicated to us before the order was placed. What disappointed us most was how these issues were handled. Mistakes can happen, but there was little effort from the staff or manager to resolve the problems or make things right. Overall, this was a frustrating experience on what should have been a special family celebration. We left disappointed with both the food quality and the customer service. Hi Aisha, we really apologize for this. My staff should not have serve this and we also understand how important the event was. I did call your parents (I assume) or Mr. Ihsaan the very next day and returned not only the money for the kababs but also for the biryani. Infact, they asked only for the kababs but they were happy with the resolution. I do not understand this review after the resolution. Kindly please do visit us again and you will change your mind and kindly ask you to talk to Mr. Ihsaan to confirm. Thanks

I visited this place last week close to closing time. The service from the staff (especially the server) was very good, and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable. We ordered chicken tikka biryani, parotta, and beef kebab. The parotta and beef kebab were good and enjoyable. However, I would give the biryani 3 stars. In my opinion, the main thing in biryani is the masala, and it felt a bit lacking. Also, the rice was a little dry, which I didn’t enjoy much. That said, this is just my personal preference—others might like this style of biryani. Overall, a decent experience with good service and ambience.
