Food Rating! At the weekend I visited KATE'S with some friends from work we arrived around 9:30 am Ready for a day out we wanted to line our stomachs before going on a pub crawl. So we ordered breakfast. It was absolutely amazing You really do need to try this place. It was one of the nicest breakfasts iv had. No greece bacon was cooked lovely sausage was really nice all piping hot. I ordered a medium breakfast it was just enough I did struggle towards the end. Been meaning to try this cafe after driving past a few times. Went today. It was great. Id have liked an egg with my small breakfast but there was plenty of food anyway all really tasty . Great mushroom. My daughter and granddaughter loved their oatcakes. We will be back Many thanks Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First time in the cafe, and first of all i love the quaint, chill atmosphere. Really calm and relaxing. Ordered my food (bangers and mash), price isnt really a problem, you pay for what you get here and thats top quality. I would highly recommend Kates if youre ever in Leek and need a bite to eat.
