Went to Katie’s homemade kitchen last week for a late breakfast. It’s a nice little place to visit for food when in Marsden. The food is really good and hot when it arrives. Staff are friendly & it’s reasonably priced too. The poached eggs on toast were so good. Will definitely return when I go stay in Marsden again in the future. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing range of foods from belly busting pies to frugal veggie specials, all home made as far as I can tell. Not the snappiest service but friendly withal. Nice touches like local art and a communal table where you can chat if you like. I'm fairly new to being dairy free due to my child's allergies and haven't found it easy to find good vegan food. The food at Katie's homemade kitchen was amazing! I had a vegan omelette sandwich which was very good and a very generous portion, and the person I was with had a meaty meal which she also rated very highly. Difficult to find a place that does both well. There were toys/puzzles for my 2 year old to play with at the table whilst she waited for food, and Katie and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be visiting again!
