The food at Kayal is amazing, so many vegan/gluten free options. We love the Dosa’s! We go every few months and since the first lockdown we often order takeaway from here and it’s always delicious! The gentleman that delivers the food is always very friendly and polite :) The reason I only give 4 stars is because when eating in the table service is lacking in friendliness, the two young chaps that often serve us always give the impression that they would rather not be there. They are not very helpful when making choices of what to choose from the menu. I also recently went to pick up a takeaway from the restaurant and again no welcoming smile or warmth. No Hi, thank you or goodbye! Very disappointing really. Food 10/10 - Staff in restaurant 3/10 Delivery man 10/10

Fantastic food and top-tier hospitality! Kayal brings the true flavors of Kerala right to Surrey. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious and packed with authentic flavor. The restaurant has a lovely, welcoming ambience and the service is excellent—the staff are warm and highly attentive. Great central location with convenient parking options nearby. Will definitely be returning! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal, attentive staff and loved the styling. Kayal aren't "just another Indian restaurant", they have a wide range of regional dishes - you won't find the standard balti/bhuna/tikka masala on the menu, making it much more of an adventure and a real decision. Popped here as I saw it highly recommended in the Woking Facebook community and I wasn't disappointed at all. We'll be back.
