Came to Swindon for the day and fancied a nice Indian walked into kyber was seated immediately and was offered drinks by far the nicest waiters we met very friendly and polite. I decided to order a chicken curry and came out steaming hot fresh, presentation was stunning the food was on another level the best curry I have ever had I highly recommend this place to anyone around in Swindon even got a friendly greeting from the owner who was super friendly definitely coming back what an a experience Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Thank you, thank you again for making my son’s birthday so memorable. After booking online, I even received a call to check if we were celebrating a special occasion. We arrived to balloons on the table and the most exceptional service. The food was fabulous with so many choices. We were even surprised with a cake and offered a complimentary liqueur. I truly believe The Khyber Restaurant is one of Swindon’s finest Indian dining experiences. As one of the town’s original Indian restaurants, it continues to set the standard year after year. Every time I visit, it somehow gets even better. The food quality is exceptional — authentic flavours, beautifully balanced spices, and dishes that genuinely reflect traditional Indian cuisine. You can taste the care and expertise in every bite. The service impresses from the moment you walk through the door. You’re warmly welcomed, looked after attentively, and made to feel valued throughout your visit. A detail that really stands out for me is that the plates arrive hot — something surprisingly rare in many restaurants — which shows the attention to detail and commitment to serving food properly. What’s also fantastic is their flexibility: many dishes can be made vegetarian without compromising on flavour, making it a perfect choice for mixed groups with different dietary preferences. Consistently excellent food, outstanding service, and authentic flavours — The Khyber never disappoints. Highly recommended.
