I love this restaurant, for the handful of times I’ve been there. Today was a pick-up order at noon. The server at the time was incredible - super friendly guy, very helpful and thoughtful. He deserves a raise. My big complaint was about the chicken wings. Over $20, and they were nothing but unseasoned, deep fried, with a tiny container of sweet chili sauce as a dip, all in a brown paper bag. This is an insult to diners. The price, the lack of flavour, and the packaging. If this is how you want to continue serving your wings, then charge $5. As that price is more aligned to what is being served. We ordered take out and had a variety of dishes. The red and yellow curries with coconut rice on the side were absolutely delicious. The Pad-Thai vegetarian option and the Pad-see-ew with beef was a big hit too! We got heat level 2 and it was perfect, not too spicy. The service has always been great. This was extremely disappointing. The food here is not Thai food . The flavors were completely wrong and nothing tasted authentic. Yes, the restaurant looks nice and the staff were polite, but that doesn’t matter when the food is fundamentally incorrect. You go to a Thai restaurant expecting Thai flavors, not a badly misinterpreted version of them. I honestly don’t understand how anyone familiar with Thai food could enjoy this. I hope the kitchen takes this as an opportunity to revisit proper Thai recipes and improve, because this place could be much better . Ps.
