Worst gravy cheesy chip of all time. The cheese clumped together and made it inedible. Battered sausage was not good. The goujons were hard and greasy, the chips were average and could not make up for the rest of the dish. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Other Price per person: £10–20

I am very disappointed, given this experience Kings will not last long now, they are surviving on their old reputation I suspect. They had better improve if they want to keep trading. They used to be really great. I called in for a takeaway this evening. The batter on the fish was the worst I have ever had. Far too thick, not crispy at all and it had a hair cooked into it! The few chips and curry sauce were okay but I’ll never be back. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: £1–10
