Great hotel, staff are friendly and the ensure smelt cleaner than clean. The food was brollaotoo. Had tbe lasagne in tbe evening and a cooked breakfast in the morning. Definitely a gem!

Kings Court Hotel is a good place to stay. Situated in the middle of England, not far from Birmingham airport and with easy access to places such as Shakespeare's Stratford on Avon, Coventry, Birmingham and many other tourist destinations, it is in a good position for those wanting to see the heart of England. The staff were excellent. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, unruffled by a late night (a football world cup game), or the many questions asked by British guests, and English-speaking people or those with little English from other countries. The waiting-on staff and others were equally well-trained and efficient. There is a variety of rooms in various parts of the hotel, I understand. The room I stayed in was adequate and pleasant without being exceptional for a hotel of this type, as was the bathroom. The television did not work, which didn't bother me. The group I was with had a pre-booked special dinner. The service was excellent, but the food, while edible and not unpleasant, was perhaps not as good as I had expected. The following morning, breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast with self-service, and was acceptable but not outstanding. I was too busy to explore the nearby area so it is unfair of me to comment, though what I did see would not have encouraged me to visit simply to see this area. Thank you to those who made this a good stay. I encourage others to try this hotel.
