The beef brisket noodle soup is absolutely amazing! The beef is incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. I also love the fish cakes—they’re delicious and pair perfectly with the noodles. The broth is rich, flavorful, and comforting. I could honestly eat here every day! The owner is very friendly, humble, and always welcoming. The service is excellent, and you can truly feel that customer satisfaction is their top priority. It’s easy to see why this restaurant has been a local favorite for so many years. I used to go to KOYA back home in Manitoba. THOUGHT I'D HAVE SOMETHING THAT I USED TO EAT ON A REGULAR BASIS. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE FOR ONE THEY DON'T PUT ALL THE VEGETABLES IN SUCH THAT WE USED TO GET! THEY DON'T COOK TO ORDER THEY POUR MEAT OUT OF A CONTAINER AND THEN RE COOK IT IT TASTED GROSS THEN WAS RUBBERY I DIDN'T EVEN EAT IT! THEY THREW IT AWAY WASTE OF MONEY. Terrible terrible terrible Updated to sound more accurate I guess Never been so disappointed in my entire life. Manitoba same chain restaurants it was perfect, beef was made to order all the vegetables which included majority of beans sprouts and mushrooms and carrots broccoli and whatever else ! here? Just cabbage? And it tasted like garbage tasted it when I got home threw it away What a waste of money. Never never never again Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

I stopped by Koya Japan in Bankers Hall a while ago, after hearing that their menu is different from other Koya Japan. In terms of food, I tried their beef brisket noodle soup as I was told this location is the best and I was pleasantly surprised. There was shredded meat, sliced beef, beef brisket, and a nice amount of vegetables with the noodles. Everything tasted quite good and the brisket definitely stood out the most. I would go again given the price and the quality and quantity of the food, and I’d give it 8.5/10
