Went over to grab a bite the other day and Im very disappointed in the staff and management at this specific place. Every other LEON I’ve gone has been quite nice and the staff I have no complaints about however, this one had me testing my patience. I’m trying to make an order and a member of staff (white skin and kind of short) is speaking in a very passive aggressive tone which almost felt racially motivated and another staff member filled the room with a horrible smell. I understand the weather has been hot lately and whilst work people sweat but it is common hygiene to use deodorant. I was not the only person in the restaurant to hold their nose. My wife and I both ordered LEON’s Chicken & Chorizo Wrap, and unfortunately we both became terribly ill afterward with what appeared to be food poisoning. We experienced severe symptoms and had an awful time recovering. Because we both ate the same item and both became sick afterward, we were extremely concerned about the food preparation, storage, or handling. This was a very unpleasant experience and has completely put us off returning. I sincerely hope LEON takes this seriously and investigates what happened to make sure other customers don’t go through the same experience. I visited LEON Strand while I was in London and I had a great experience. The employees were friendly and helpful and my food came out quickly. My usual order at LEON is the vegan LOVe burger with the baked waffle fries and both were delicious. LEON also offers a variety of other options, including chicken nuggets, superfood salads, LEON (cole) slaw, wraps, and a chicken burger. I would recommend checking out LEON Strand if you are in the area and looking for tasty, healthier fast food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in
