This is a great restaurant. The food is prepared from scratch in sight from the tables. The freshness and standard of the food are excellent. If you order soon after others you may have to wait a little for their dishes to be prepared first. Price per person: £40–50

Amazing food with amazing service. Absolutely the best food in the area! Fresh and tasty ingredients, with a friendly and caring service. It’s good to have a restaurant that really cares about the food they serve and the experience they provide for their customers, and not just bums on seats! We chose La Ranchera to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the occasion special for him, which we really appreciated. The food was outstanding—everything was freshly made, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared. You could tell there was real care put into each dish. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, perfect for a family celebration. What truly stood out was how the team went the extra mile to make my dad feel celebrated. Those thoughtful touches made the experience even more memorable. I can honestly say this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten in. Highly recommended for both special occasions and anyone who appreciates great food and excellent service.
