Forgot to review the hotel when we left! We stayed for a family member’s wedding locally. Wedding was at 1pm couldn’t check in officially till 3. We had 2 rooms but both were ready for 12 when we arrived so we could change and freshen up from the drive there and that’s thanks to the staff for doing that for us. All the staff were superb and the breakfast was brilliant. Just what you needed after a heavy night celebrating. Highly recommend this place

We had the pleasure in staying at the Lake Isle for two nights. The accommodation was fabulous, large bedroom ,stunning bathroom with walk in shower. The restaurant was something very special. High quality food, great menu , choice of wine and a well stocked bar. However, what made our stay extra special was the service. Both Richard and Janine are excellent hosts and their attention to detail and engagement with guests is truly special. And somehow their “lead” percolates through to every member of their team. Our only regret was our stay was too short.

Cannot speak highly enough of Richard and his team. Beautifully equipped and decorated rooms, fabulous breakfast cooked to order and a sumptuous dinner with choices aplenty. Simply superb.
