Lakeside Café in Battle, is a delightful spot that offers much more than just a place to grab a bite. Nestled by a serene lake that’s perfect for fishing and outings, the café is surrounded by beautiful trails ideal for wood walks and hiking. The nearby market is a lovely bonus, offering visitors the chance to pick up some fresh produce or local goods. Inside the café, the decor is charming and welcoming, creating a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure you feel right at home. The menu has a great selection of meals, from hearty dishes to lighter options, along with a good variety of both hot and cold drinks. We visited on a sunny weekend, and it was wonderful to sit outside and soak in the views. The café is open until 3 PM on weekends, making it a perfect spot for brunch or an early afternoon treat. Overall, Lakeside Café is a must-visit if you’re in the area—especially on a sunny day!
