Needs better management. Only 1 waitress working really hard to try and keep everyone happy. Order was taken after quite a while and a few polite reminders. Our starter was good but our main was cold when it arrived. We did complain and wasn't charged for our mains but it was disappointing. If there was another waiter/waitress our food would of arrived hot but it was obvious it had been sitting around a while. We have previously had large bookings which was good but wouldn't return now in a hurry.

We have eaten twice at the Lanivet Inn. Both times the food was excellent. However, despite staff being nice the speed of service was far too slow. The first time we dined it was a busy Saturday night so understandable, but the second time it was early on a Monday evening and quiet. From bringing menus, to ordering both drinks and food and then waiting for the meals to come it was all very slow. There was no explanation or apology for the speed of service. A real shame as the food is delicious but due to the slow service we will not be returning. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
