Lantern is a great spot just outside the hustle and bustle of Chinatown, making it a perfect choice if you want something a bit more relaxed without sacrificing quality. There were 16 of us dining together, and the dinner was superb — the service was attentive and well-organised, which isn’t always easy with a group that size, especially with 7 kids (6 to 11 year olds) The food was delicious across the board, with the duck pancakes being a real highlight. Everything came out fresh and full of flavour, and there was plenty to go around. It’s also a big plus that it’s BYOB, which makes it even better for groups and keeps things more affordable. Overall, a really enjoyable meal and somewhere I’d happily recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30
