Lardo has been on my list of restaurants to go to for a while now, and I’m glad I finally got there. Small intimate space, delicious food and excellent service. I am a big fan of a classic old fashioned cocktail and if you are too, you have to try their Vieux Carré cocktail. It’s similar, but slightly more classy and extravagant! Lardo was incredible. Amazing food, amazing service, and you can tell how much thought and care goes into every dish. The Ravioli Verdi was unreal, the maitake mushroom was genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, the strawberry sorbet was so fresh and perfectly balanced, and the tiramisu was pure heaven. I don’t know if you’d call it a hidden gem, but it’s already become one of my favourite spots in the city. I’ve already booked my next reservation. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had such an amazing dining experience at Laredo!! even better than my first visit! You can really feel the amount of care and attention to detail the owner puts into every part of the restaurant, from the utensils and servingware to the entire atmosphere. GP is such a wonderful host, bartender, and server. He makes everyone feel so welcome, and his off-menu cocktails were incredible. The whole team truly makes the experience special. The food is creative, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. We loved the focaccia with lardo so much we had to order a second one. The cheese plate was fantastic, and the rack of lamb was prepared with simple ingredients but had so much flavor. Everything feels classic but with a clever twist that brings out so much umami. Love this restaurant, the food is amazing, but the people behind it are what make the whole experience unforgettable. Already looking forward to coming back soon!
