Came here to dine in. Person at the desk definitely need to be trained on customer service. I can tell he is quite young from how he presents himself to customers, but training is required. No drink menu presented, could not tell what drinks they have to offer. No music to help emphasise the atmosphere. Maybe I should have gotten a takeaway instead because the fly issue was insane. I understand that it was hot but at least have something to deal with flies if you are keeping the door open. E.g. fly strips or a fly light. It was impossible enjoy food when you are too busy defending your food (the attached image does not show the amount of flies that was swarming us). The food is mid. Edible but definitely better Chinese elsewhere. I would not waste your money on this place. Respectfully. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

This place used to be really good, so I’m not sure what has happened. Ordered a Chinese last night. Sweet and sour sauce was so thick and gelatinous that it couldn’t be poured over anything, despite being very hot. Chicken balls were dry and rock solid. The crispy shredded beef has no beef in it whatsoever and again, was so dry. Mixed vegetables tasted and smelt awful. Just a massive waste of money all round. Extremely disappointed. Only thing which was good was the service from the young lady working there. Food: 1 Service: 5

I frequently order takeaways from Lee's Cottage. The food is always delicious and the front of house staff are always very pleasant, helpful, easy to talk to and professional. I've eaten in the restaurant also and that was equally enjoyable. Happy to call them my local "go to". :) Price per person: £10–20
