A few yrs ago the food was decent, I recalled enjoying it. July 2026 takeout- was very disappointed. Shanghai noodles , white in colour not the traditional style or flavor, bland with chicken broth? bean sprouts and onions, some shrimp (not enough to match the noodle portion) and TINY pieces of chicken bits, along w 2 pkgs of soy sauce? Served in a Medium size rectangle shape container with a SHALLOW depth. I asked for a mixed vegetable dish and staff suggested mixed vegetables with tofu. Again a medium size round container built to look larger than what it would hold. Small diameter bottom with stepped edges also made to look like it would hold more volume than it would hold.OMG I got home and opened a round medium container full of tofu. Had to dig for vegetables. a couple pcs tiny corn, small pieces of green pepper, onion and about 2 pcs of thinly sliced carrot. This rip off cost me $30.49. I will never go back. The food was not of authentic good quality or taste, small portions lacking full serving sizes of the ingredients that actually cost money, like shrimp , bite sized pieces of chicken and vegetables. Bland noodles and a bowl of tofu cost $30.49 Still fuming. Sorry I didnt think to take pics I really wish I had have done so. Do Not Recommend. Cost is the same or more than Mandarin which is far superior and much better quality and taste and portion size. Food: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Takeaway Price per person: $30–40

Best Chinese Takeout in Barrie. Polite and helpful staff and consistently delicious food. I drive from half an hour away just to enjoy their food. Try the Manchurian Fried Rice and Chilli Chicken (Dry) if you like a little bit of spice in your life. 5 stars.
