Takeaway: Food was great, but as I was finishing my Egusi, I cut my tongue on something sharp and thinking it was a piece of bone I took it out with my fork and it was a shard of hard plastic or something, maybe from another container that stored some of the food in it. I tried to call the restaurant straight after and it went straight to voice mail but I left my order number and explained, as I'd rather raise it first directly than go straight to FSA cus it's a small black business and we look after our own. Please address this issue Edit response to restaurant: I have left voicemail already, so you already have my number that way. if not, I’ve already explained the issue in my voicemail message and left the same review on Just Eat, so you can trace when the order was made and hopefully when and why the issue occurred. I’ve ordered from you before with no issues but this was a concern. Please provide a reason for this and assurance that measures will be taken to prevent this. If I swallowed that sharp piece of plastic, I could’ve been extremely unwell and need medical help. Thank you. I had a great experience at jollof and chill restaurant. The food was rich , flavorful and delicious, the atmosphere was clean and welcoming, with a wide range of meal to choose from. The customer service was excellent and very welcoming.
