The Lime Tree is exactly what you want from a local pub. It's got that proper, old-school boozer feel that's getting harder to find these days – friendly regulars, no poncy food menu, just good drinks and a welcoming vibe. The refurb they did last year has really smartened the place up. New seating, new flooring, and they've added a load of HD screens for the sport, plus two pool tables and three dart boards. The beer garden out back has been done up nicely too, with a covered deck and an outdoor screen – perfect for a sunny afternoon. The real highlight is the live music. They've got bands on most Friday and Saturday nights, and the atmosphere is brilliant when it's on. The staff are spot on – friendly and welcoming, whether you're a regular or popping in for the first time. One reviewer summed it up: "What a friendly bunch of people.
