The ambiance of the restaurant was incredible, I especially liked the live fish pond and the general aesthetics. I got the salmon roll appetizer and the chicken curry main and they were both incredibly well made, rich and very tasty (if there’s any feedback it would be they do away with the sprinkle of salt on top the rice; taking a top bite of that was salty). All in all an incredible place to have a meal for any occasion. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: They ask about allergen and dietary restrictions and with how meat the kitchen was, there nothing to worry about.

I went this evening for a quick bite after lunch and I was a bit underwhelmed with the food. This is my second time visiting the restaurant, so I decided to opt for the Chicken Katsu Bento Box, served with rice, vegetable tempura, fruit, and salad with the house dressing. The chicken and rice were lovely but for £17.99 I think a lot of more could’ve been done. The vegetable tempura tasted bland and the house salad looked tired. Also, I wasn’t really expecting to receive two piece of orange as ‘fruit’. All in all, it wasn’t the best and has put me off from trying anything else (which is unfortunate because their sushi is amazing!)
